The SALES TOP™ is another of Sii's innovative "solutions that sell!". It combines a flexible and unique hardware with an intelligent and functional software component, thus guaranteeing an optimal sales presentation that is customized for every single customer or prospect.

By awarding Sii with the Star for Excellence in Innovation the VDAV, the most important industry association for directory and database publishers in the German market, acknowledged the superiority of this new product over current laptop or tablet sales systems currently used by publishers.

Our customers and visitors at our booth at the VDAV Branchentreff were also convinced by the benefits the SALES TOP™ will offer for publishers and its advertising customers. Both the customer and the sales representative have their own screen to look at. The sales representative's screen is called the "Slide Panel". It is a mobile device that allows for optimal communication setup and gives the sales representative complete control over the presentation by guiding him through it. At the end of the meeting the customer is offered an optimal advertising strategy that takes into account all the information he just provided during that same meeting. 2007 - YPA Gold Award for Supplier of the Year

Solution: YELLOW PAC™

In 2007 Sii won its second YPA Award. This year it was the GOLD Award in the category "Supplier of the Year". Our partner Dumrath & Fassnacht (DuF) - one of the most prestigious telephone directory publishers in Germany - launched an extremely successful sales campaign in Kiel (Germany) by using our SPEC PAC™ brochures, now also complemented by the COP-system (Canvass Optimization Program).

COP allows each sales representative to organize their client visits in the best possible way, and thus to increase their sales productivity. Sii proved to be an excellent partner, who delivered 100% on time in outstanding quality, and who offered dedicated and competent support whenever required.

On average, advertising sales revenues increased by 23% for those advertising customers who were approached with a SPEC PAC™. Thanks to those innovative folders, clients put their advertisement in additional books, chose an additional heading in the same book or decided to upgrade their ad size. Sii proved itself as a great partner, who worked closely and in unison with DuF.


2007 - VDAV Star for Excellence in Marketing

At the VDAV Branchentreff 2007, Sii's Partner Dumrath & Fassnacht (DuF), applied for an award with its YELLOW PAC™-lead sales campaign in category „Marketing" and won the Star for Excellence in this category. The independent, expert judges were convinced by Sii's concept of using personalized, 12-page-YELLOW PAC™ sales brochures to boost advertising sales.

No other publisher in Germany was able to show personalized spec ads in different formats for print and online media based on up-to-date market data during the first (and usually successful) meeting with the advertising customer. The innovative folding technique behind these special sales brochures make them easy-to-use and efficient sales tools, which were easily accepted and properly used by DuF's sales team. Prior to the meeting, DuF with the help of Sii also sent its customers a personalized postcard announcing the sales meeting to come.

2006 - YPA Bronze Award for Marketing Innovation

2006 was the birth year for Sii's innovative, and nowadays proven YELLOW PAC™ solutions. The YELLOW PAC™ was one of the first new directory ad sales-aids that revolutionized the sales approach in the industry. That's what Sii intended to achieve, and that's what the Yellow Pages Association thought as well, by choosing our application to win the Bronze Awards in the category: Marketing Innovation.

The sheer revolutionary nature of this product and the extraordinary scale of the success of the first major trials convinced the judges, as much as our customers. The traditionally used "presenter" became obsolete with the launch of Sii's personalized sales brochures which allow for easier face-to-face presentation than any laptop or tablet system. This tool provides sales representatives with all the relevant, customer-specific information to sell optimized advertising programs and to meet advertiser's expectations. As all product trials proved, using the YELLOW PAC™ during the sales campaign helped publishers to exceed their renewal sales targets by up to 60%, and that all in a shorter sales cycle.
